What's the difference between the subscription and lifetime editions?

The features are identical — only activation differs. The subscription edition signs in with your email and stays active for as long as your subscription is valid. The lifetime edition activates with a serial number, needs no sign-in, never expires, and keeps working with patch updates within the version line you purchased.
