Choose "List" in the top bar to show each scene as a set of tracks:
- Picture tracks V1…: higher tracks appear in front.
- PPT / subtitle / background tracks.
- Music track A1: all music in the scene plays back to back.
Empty tracks show a hint that you can drop music or pictures there. A scene with only a capture picture is marked LIVE.
Editing on the tracks
- Drag a clip edge to trim in / out.
- Drag the light-blue dots to set fade in / fade out.
- Drag the diamond to set the crossfade into the next song.
- Drag a video clip to change when it starts in the scene; drop it on another picture track to change its stacking order.
- Drag a music clip left or right to change the play order.
- The ↻ button toggles loop.
Edits snap to 0.1 s; hold Option while dragging for free adjustment. Drag a track divider to change one track's height, or the bottom edge of a row to change the whole row's height; with several scenes selected, they change together.
Clip context menu
- Edit clip… / Properties… (volume 0–200%, Mute) / Split here
- Loop music layer / Loop picture layer / Play earlier / Play later (music)
- Reset trim and fades / Delete clip (capture clips also offer "Choose capture device…")
The "Edit clip" dialog
Enter times as "minutes:seconds.hundredths": Start playing from (in), Stop at (out; leave empty for End of media), Start offset in scene (video), picture / audio fade in and fade out, Crossfade to next (music), and loop.
A scene's length is the total length of its music; without music, it is the length of its longest video.
